Normally, the pregnancy rate of in vitro fertilization is comparatively higher than that of artificial insemination because the success rate of in vitro fertilization depends on several key factors the quality of sperm, the quality of embryo, the condition of the uterine, the equipment of the hospital and its technology; if we manage well these risks, we’ll be able to enhance the success rate.

How much does in vitro fertilization treatment cost?

The cost of a single in vitro fertilization treatment cycle (egg retrieval + implantation) is about NT$ 150,000. With an additional preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidies of 3 embryos, the cost will be about NT$ 250,000. The actual amount depends on the course of treatment and medication which may vary because of individual physical condition.
